Coming on Friday April 1st

Whoa – just got done looking at this weeks vodcast…I don’t like to do this often, but I think we will watch the whole thing Friday night because it is that important. The scripture and sermon deal with false teaching and Mark does an outstanding job with it, so please take a bit of time and read the scripture (2 Peter 1: 16-21) and come ready to hear and discuss.

Next Friday we need to meet at Discovery Fellowship Church at 6:00 to prepare for Mission Old Town. Since we will be there so close, I am thinking that we should go to the corn maze at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 8:00.

So, pass the word and eat first! It should be fun!!!!

Welcome to Discovery Fellowship’s College & Career blog.

Hopefully, this blog will be able to be an invaluable tool to encourage and equip you all for service, for the glory of God. As Ephesians 4:12-13 so adequately says:

“to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

This is the purpose of “The Fort.” We want to be a safe place for college students and young adults, as they navigate through the many trials of finding a career, advancing through school, and somehow maintaining and real relationship with Christ. You will be encouraged and prepared to go out into the world to love others.
